not really a question, but some feedback on your twitter request regarding the NCN: just play some of your own old favorites, and please also some new(er) stuff we hadn't a chance to see live until now! My fav's: dystopia, anthem, start digging, disease... ;) Really looking forward to see you again after that long time since Zurich!!! Maybe there's some time to meet... and bring some merch along... cya soon!
We did play Disease. It was a great time. Hope you were able to make it out!
I don't give a fuck if you never record another LP as Dismantled - 'Whole Wide World' gets me every fucking time I hear it. Let me tell you this, there were plenty here in the UK seething when he was awarded it - me included, obviously. Save The Children awarded their top prize to Blair - someone I - and countless others - regard as a mass murderer, and the architect of genocide.
It's election circus time here, and to say I'm apathetic about the whole fucking charade would be an understatement - no party's addressing the issues that concern me (legalisation of (M)MJ, reformation of the NHS (you know what that is, right - our BS :health' service), abolition of the monarchy - sick of this baby shite) and the Tories always hold here. Only 1 minority party is dedicated to scrapping Trident (our nukes).
Thank you for being awesome, my friend.
In Solidarity, Peace, Love, and Bacon (I'm Baconist - Praise The Lard!)
I was playing through crackdown the other day, and I realized that two of your songs on there (well, one of yours and a remix of one of yours), and, those were the two I thoroughly enjoyed on the soundtrack, before I knew who you were. I guess it was a big coincidence that one of my friends showed me one of your songs (Insect head) earlier this year.
I do recall being on that game way back in the day. Hope you enjoyed the music video for Insecthead since I currently live in the space where it was recorded.
Might have a warmup show before our festival show in Germany. But honestly, we don't like playing LA all that much for obvious reasons.
I think underground music has much less meaning and innovation than mainstream music these days. Even though things tend to be on the generic side, at least it's innovative. I like the infusion of trancier elements into the pop realm since I used to listen to trance back in 1999 before it was ever popular When is the last time you heard something fresh and innovative from the "underground" scene?
Today I finally had the opportunity to purchase The War Inside Me CD, and I got curious about the Rumble 100 reference in the booklet. Can you share the story behind that (if there is a story)?
Ps: I can't hold it back but write that I think Dismantled is one of the cleverest contemporary acts in the whole...well wide world, as I know. So I wanted to thank you for bringing this thing into life, it is beautiful with all its madness and scratches.
Best regards, a 'fan' from far away
Thank you. Next time, purchase something directly from my store at http://dismantled.bandcamp.com/merch and I will tell you a story. Direct support means the world to me at the moment and I see no funds if my fans buy my albums from sources other than me directly.
Yes, I have it somewhere. It is a solid piece of work but with an obsolete lineup. I can not dwell too much into nostalgia at the moment.
